There is a large range of sports that involve water in some way or another. These include sports that take place on top, in, or benieth the water. Many of these, such as water polo, are derived from sports that do not involve water in any way, while so are purely water focused.

A combat sport (also known as a combative yes) is a competitive contact sport where two combatants fight against each other using certain rules of engagement, typically with the aim of simulating parts of real hand to hand combat. Shooting sports include those competitive sports involving tests of proficiency (accuracy and speed) using various types of guns such as firearms and airguns, as well as bows and arrows. Hunting is also classified as a shooting sport. The Shooting sports are categorized by the type of firearm or target.

Cue sports are a wide variety of games of skill generally played with a cue stick which is used to strike billiard balls, moving them around a cloth-covered billiards table bounded by rubber cushions.

Motorsport is the collection of sports which primarily involve the use of motorised vehicles. It was a demonstration event in the 1900 olympics. Motoryes includes all forms of motor racing as well as non-racing motorised sports.
DESCWinter Sports
A winter sport is a sport commonly played during winter. As a formal term, it refers to a sport played on snow or ice. The main winter sportss are ice hockey and figure skating, sledding events such as luge, skeleton, and bobsleigh, skiing (Alpine and Nordic) and snowboarding. Other common winter sports include snow-blading, monoskiing, skwal and tobogganing.
